Starpath Robotics: R3 Rover

Designed for mining water on the lunar south pole, this first generation of the R3 was built to validate the chassis and lunar regolith transport system. On this project, I designed the active suspension system and wheels, as well as critical components of the proprietary lunar regolith collection tool. I fabricated the aluminum robot chassis and suspension using TIG welding, sheet metal fabrication tools, and CNC machining.

Olin Robotics: Autonomous Car

Utilizing a color vision camera, a lidar sensor, sonar, IR sensors, and a GPS module, this RC car was built to autonomously navigate Olin's campus, placing first of nine in a the college's yearly obstacle course race. For this project, dubbed the Minion-mobile, I was responsible for chassis design and construction, wiring, and sensor integration, working closely with the programing team to ensure a robot capable of accurate ground truth.
